Rachel is a Palisadian who lost her home in the January 2025 Palisades Fire and has since become one of the community's most active voices on mortgage relief and the path back home. She brings that frontline perspective to supporting homeowners navigating Phoenix's partnership-based rebuilding model and their overall rebuild situation.

She has a background in research and data analysis, including a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from UCLA, and a talent for translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.

She is the co-founder of Disaster Mortgage Relief (DMR), where she works closely with affected families to surface patterns in their experiences, strengthen community engagement, and turn those insights into more effective solutions for homeowners and policymakers alike.
